Diana Garcia - Academic Coordinator
Who am I?
My name is Diana Garcia. I begin working with the Upward Bound program when I was a student at UC Davis as a tutor advisor and resident advisor. In 2005 I joined the Upward Bound team once again and have been the Academic Coordinator ever since!!
Why is UB Important to Me?
Upward Bound provides information, support and motivation for so many
students who would otherwise not have the resources to go to college. It is
such a great opportunity for so many students. I love getting to know the
students and helping them accomplish their goals! It is such a great
feeling and such a great program to be a part of!
What Are My Interests?
I love spending time with my family, especially my kids. I love finding new
places to take them, museums, parks, anything!! I also love taking little
trips...to the beach, camping, just anywhere out and about. And of course I
like to relax, watch a good movie, take a walk, invite my family over for
dinner.
